Starting with the Zoots, I moved to Mr. Blues, Mc Antony and then continued my journey as a member of Mr. Boogie Woogie's band. I played at famous festivals such as: Blues Peer, Moulin Blues, and Bluesfest Geildorf. While working a day job and playing in hundreds of concerts a year was challenging, my passion for music was on the fast train.
Although I have not personally met with Jermaine Jackson, I am grateful for his recommendation which provided me with the opportunity to perform full time as a professional blues harp player for the Dutch singer, Rob de Nijs. In the following seven years, we played thousands of concerts.
My unique harp sound was appreciated by a broader audience. During this era, I also recorded for Marco Borsato, Helmut Lotti and Lisa del Bo.
Raw concerts with Passage to the Blues, a live band that rocked. Mario Pesic's vocals and a loud guitar gave the concerts it's musical power. I was impressed by Hans Molenaar who brought the drums to a whole other dimension.
Together with my pal and bassist, Bart Kamp, I started to move out of my comfort zone. Harpomatic is for me, it's Blues in a digital jacket. I like to call it, "Blues Lounge". This album was release in 2005 by Telstar Studio and I can say it was ahead of it's time. I am still very proud of this project and the album is available online for purchase.
The same year with the band, Red Eye Gravy, I recorded 40 Hourse. This was a powerful album where Rob Geboers also produced great sound of his Hammond. He gave the album the extra boost it needed and Ronald Oor punched up the album with his drums.
Thanks to the same collaboration as with Harpomatic, this album became real by Telstar Studios. It was also produced by the mixing artist, Ron Lieberton and the master of mastering, Wolfgang Neumann.
Dan Riis introduced me to the Norwegian music scene. I was invited by several known Norwegian musicians to play, but by mistake, I became a singer which started a new journey.
I founded a new international band thanks to my good old friend, Luc Janssens. He empowers the magic in music like no one else does. We have found time to collaborate and produce more magic out of our music.
